We did it. We made through another year.
We want to thank you, our clients and friends. Despite getting off to a rocky start, 2021 turned out to be one of the best years to date—for real estate, for our team, and hopefully,
We hope you're spending the next few weeks with the ones you love, reflecting on all the good and bad and in between that this year brought, and looking forward to what the New Year holds.

Real Estate in the Adams Era
On January 1st, Eric Adams will be inaugurated as New York City's 110th Mayor, and with great power comes great speculation of his effect on the real estate industry.
It's no secret that Adams has a few friends in the business, with some of the biggest developers in the city pouring money into his campaign. But this doesn't seem to mean free reign, as he also has a history of pushing for regulation.
So what will with the industry look like under an Adams administration? We'll have to wait four years (or eight, or 12 if he pulls a Bloomberg) to find out for sure, but expect a very different skyline by the time he leaves Gracie Mansion.

Find the Perfect Gift at a Holiday Market
Brooklyn holiday markets offer so much more than jewelry, soap, and candles. They also offer ceramics and hand knitted stuffed animals. But no matter who's on your gift list this year, there's sure to be something to please (or at least be good enough). Here's a list of a few running this month.

See the Tree. Yes, That Tree.
In 1936, a little Norway Spruce sapling was born in the town of Elkton, Maryland. Standing now at 79 feet tall and weighing in at a lean, mean 12 tons, it's earned the rare privilege of being the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. Go see it while it's still there, and maybe even skate below it. After all, there's no shame in being the occasional tourist in your own town.

See the Lights in Dyker Heights
This annual tradition continues, as the streets of Dyker Heights illuminate with life size Santas, greater than life size Frostys, and reindeer a-plenty. If you plan on checking it out, be sure to take the subway (D train to 79th St) or leave yourself plenty of time to park.
